He is risen, He is alive

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is a reminder that the promise of God is true and He is faithful.

Since we are dead in our trespasses, Jesus was crucified so that we will have a way to be reunited with God again.

Without Jesus’ death and resurrection, wala din power yung salvation.

Ganoon yung love ni Lord for us that even we are still sinners, Christ died for us. (See romans 5:8)

The resurrection is a symbol that Jesus has conquered the grave, death was defeated, the chain was gone, the power of sin was broken. He won it all for us. Now we have the victory

We can now restore our relationship with God by receiving Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.

God is at Hand

This pandemic seems to cancel everything. (Classes, works, event, gatherings, etc.)

There were so many loss, andaming nag papanic, maraming natatakot.

Para bang dumadaan tayo sa isang matinding proseso kung saan ay maraming pagsubok at dagok ng buhay. Yung tipong “First quarter pa lang ng 2020 pero ang dami na nangyayari” (Lindol, sunog, war, volcanic eruption, accident, flood, typhoon etc.)

Amidst all adversity, let us look at the bright side. (Not to be optimistic or what but let us all hope for the best)

Maaaring para tayong isang lumang building na kinakailangan idemolish, durugin, gibain at linisin (masakit, masalimuot, magulo)

But you know, after the demolition, the construction will start. The process of building a new building will start (mabagal, matagal, magulo, marami pang mag ddoubt because mabagal)

But sooner or later, we will see the beauty of everything.

Maybe this pandemic is God’s way of doing His plans. Maraming plano natin ang nakansela, but you know what plans will prevail? It is the beautiful plans of God in our life.

The process may not always be easy but it is worth the fight and worth the wait.

Hindi man natin naiintindihan ang mga kaganapan. Hindi man natin kontrolado ang sitwasyon, one thing is for sure, God is at hand.

John 13:7
Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

Know Your Identity in Christ

There will be moments that those people around you will compare their lives with you or vice versa.

But I want to remind you that You are not what they are. You have your own identity in Christ.

Hindi porket nangyari sa kanila ay mangyayari na rin sa iyo. Huwag mo sanang hayaan na diktahan ng ibang tao kung sino at ano ka dapat.

Do not allow them to control your life. Kung ano ang nangyari sa kanila, hindi noon ma didiktahan kung sino ka.

Do not believe in the lies of their tongues. It is not worth believing for. Mapapagod ka lang pakinggan at sundin ang mga sinasabi nila, hindi ka pa masaya.

Just follow God’s purpose for your life. You have your own identity in Him.

Kung makikita at malalaman mo lang sana kung gaano ka kaganda, ka importante at kamahal mahal sa paningin ni Lord, hindi mo na kakailanganin ma stress at ma down sa pakikinig sa sinasabi ng iba tungkol sa kung sino ka.

“She is far more precious than jewels

Let God remind you for who you are in Him by reading His word everyday, meditating it day and night, and doing His Word.

Perks of a Closed Door

Proverbs 19:21 New International Version (NIV)
21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

God will sometimes close the door that no one can open because He will also open a new door that no one can close.

Maaaring isinara Niya ang isang pintong hindi mo naman nais o inaasahang isara. Nakalulungkot, nakapanghihinayang, nakakawalang gana. Tila napag bagsakan ka ng langit at lupa. Ang pintong ito ay maaaring pangarap mo na hindi pa sa ngayon hinahayaan ni Lord na mangayari kasi hindi ka pa fully ready, pwedeng trabaho, lovelife at kung ano pa.

Nakakalungkot man isipin na may mga bagay na gusto nating mangyari pero hindi naman gusto ni Lord.

Ngunit kapatid, always remember and consider na yung saradong pinto na iyan ay hindi katapusan ngunit isang mumunting simula palang sa masaya mong journey kasama si Lord.

Marahil isinara ni Lord ang pintuan kasi hindi ka pa nga handa. Maaaring pinlano mo lang mag isa at alam Niyang hindi mo kakayanin kapag ibinigay Niya agad.

Tandaan mong maaari tayong mag plano dahil bingiyan tayo ng pagkakataong mag desisyon. Ngunit hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon ay iyon ang magaganap. Will pa rin ni Lord ang masusunod.

Closed doors are okay if ito naman ang simula ng pagbubukas ng new opportunities na galing kay Lord patungo sa landas na inihanda Niya para sa’yo

Focus on God

² Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

have you ever noticed na maraming tao ngayon ang pagod na pagod na to live their life?

why?

maybe be because there are so many reasons. And one of those reason ay maaring napagod na silang iplease yung ibang tao.

Nakakapagod na naman. Hindi mo kasi mapplease ang mga tao sapagkat iba iba sila ng gusto, pananaw at paniniwala.

Maaaring gusto ni friend 1 na ganto ka, pero sasabihin ni friend 2 na hindi sayo bagay, so babaguhin mo ulet. Si friend 3 naman sasabihin sayo na bakit ganan hanggang sa mag paulit ulit lang yung cycle at dumating ka sa puntong marindi ka na sa sinasabi ng mundo at mga taong nasa paligid mo.

My dear, talagang mapapagod ka kapag ginawa mo ang gusto nila.

But when you found your true identity in God, dun mo na isa isang mapapatahimik yung boses sa paligid mong kumokontrol sayo sa kung paano ka dapat maging ikaw base sa kanilang ibat ibang nakakalito at nakakapagod na pananaw.

Kung alam mo yung tunay mong identity sa Lord, you’ll be able to see the beauty in you. That you are more than enough at hindi mo na kailangang mag lagay ng kung ano anong bagay sa sarili mo.

Just be pure. Follow God’s instruction. Live your life according to His will and command.

Don’t ever listen to others kapag nasa will kana ng Lord.

Do not dwell on those people that is trying to shape you on who they wants you to be rather than who God wants you to be.

The goal is to impress God not to please other people na hindi mo naman gusto o hindi naman talaga nag ccare sayo.

Try Again, This Time with God

We all fail.

We commit mistakes

But we learn and we try again.

Lahat tayo ay dumarating sa puntong nagkakamali. But that’s fine.

Don’t be afraid. Huwag kang matakot sa failure because it is a part of this life. Failing is a learning experience so we can do better next time.

Sa bawat pagkakamali natin, may pagkatuto. At sa pagkatutong iyon doon tayo mas magiging matalino sa mga bagay bagay at mas magiging matatag.

“Failure is not the opposite of success, it is a part of success” wala namang dumating sa tugatog ng tagumpay ang hindi dumanas ng pagkatalo or pagkakamali.

Sa totoo lang, “failure is not a lost, it is a gain. You learn, you change, you grow” isipin mo, kung hindi ka magkakamali ay hindi ka matututo kahit kailan man.

Ika nga nila na “experience is the best teacher”

And you know what is best when you fail? it is guaranteed that God is with you in this part of your life. Maybe He just used your failure for a purpose.

One thing is for sure, God will be always with you no matter what. Sa pagkakadapa mo ay ibabangon ka Niya basta kasama mo Siya

for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

Proverbs 24:16

Fear or failure has nothing to do with us. Huwag kang matakot magkamali sapagkat there’s a purpose in failure.

Yes it may lead us to feel na wala nang bukas o kung ano pa man yan. Because of the fear of judgement. But who cares? God’s grace is beyond measure. Wala nang power yang fesr or failure na iyan sapagkat napag tagumpayan na ni Lord. Remember, He can turn darkness into light. Sorrows into Joy. The only thing you need to do is to rely in His presence.

Bumangon ka at lumaban muli.

Try again, this time with God.

Hindi pa huli ang lahat kapatid. Habang buhay ay may pag-asa.

Habang nasa Kaniya ka, mas magiging malakas ka.

Just trust Him. Let Him mold you.

Everything will be fine.

It will be rainy for this day, pero hindi habang buhay ay uulan.

God didn’t promise a storm proof life, but one thing is for sure, He will be with you through the storm if you allowed Him. Kung napakalma niya ang bagyo noon, parted the red sea, feed the 5000, what more He can do with your life?

Common just trust God.

God is Able

God is able to do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine. He does everything by his power that is working in us.

-Ephesians 3:20

May mga worries tayo na sa tingin natin ay napakalabong ma solusyunan. Tipong sa sobrang bigat, akala natin wala nang pagasa. Mga problemang tila mas mataas pa sa Mt. Everest at mas mahaba pa sa trapik sa edsa.

It can be a remnant from the past, mga choices na pinagsisihan mo, pagkakamaling sa tingin mo ay hindi na maitatama o kung ano pa man.

But dear, God’s grace is sufficient.

He has His wonderful plan sa buhay mo.

If someone gave you a mountain, then make it move. Kung may mga probelma kang kinakaharap sa ngayon, ito ang oras para ipagkatiwala at isuko ito sa Lord.

Yung mga pagkakamali, past, at mess mo, kayang kayang itama iyan ni Lord. Just ask Him. Surrender. For He is able

The God who created the whole universe out of nothing is the same God who knows everything about you. Kilala ka Niya kapatid. Let Him orchestrate everything until such time na ma feel mo na yung mga broken pieces mo ay unti unting nabubuo. Nafifill yung gap sa puso mong noon ay parang walang pagasa.

He is able to do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine.

Kapatid, yung iniisip mong solusyon, wala yan sa Lord.

May mga desisyon tayong sa tingin natin ay tama pero sa oras na isuko mo sa Lord lahat, doon mo mararanasan ang greatest power na mayroon Siya. Again, hindi mo maiisip or kahit nino man ang kayang gawin ni Lord sa buhay mo.

He just wants us to surrender. Gusto Niyang ilapit mo ang lahat sa Kaniya at isama Siya sa laban.

God’s Plan over Mine

Siguro’y may mga plano tayo noong nakaraang taon na hindi umayon sa kung paano natin ito binuo.

May mga visions na hindi naman nangyari at mga pangarap na hindi naman natupad.

Nakakafrustrate, nakaka disappoint, nakakawalang gana naman talaga na hindi umayon ang plano sa kung paano natin ito ginustong mangyari to the extent na sisisihin natin si Lord bakit niya ito hinayaan.

But have we ever asked ourselves kung bakit nangyari yon? Minsan ba’y naisip natin kung bakit hindi nakiayon ang pagkakataon?

Siguro nga’y hindi.

Hindi natin ito maiisip sapagkat masyado tayong abala sa pag iisip kung paano aayon sa atin ang tadhana at kung paanong ang agos ay magiging maayos.

Hindi mo nga naman mapag tutuunan ng pansin ang mga magagandang bagay kung abala ka sa pagtingin sa mga bagay na wala ka.

Sa mga planong hindi umayon sa’yo sapagkat maasring disgrasya ang abutin mo.

Mga relasyong inalis sa’yo sapagkat alam Niyang hindi mo kakayanin itong panindigan.

Mga taong nawala, umalis at nang iwan sapagkat nakita ni Lord na hindi sila makabubuti.

Minsang abala tayo sa pag iisip sa kung paano aayon ang lahat.

Sandali, tumigil ka muna ng kaunti.

Ipahinga ang iyong utak.

Patahimikin ang paligid

Huminga ng malalim

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. -Proverbs 16.3

Oo kapatid. Kung may mga planong hindi nakiayon sa atin nitong mga nakaraang taon, iyon ay siguro sa kadahilanang hindi natin Siya naisama sa plano.

Bago tayo mag ka sisishan, naisip mo ba na isangguni muna sa Lord? Isinama mo ba Siya habang nag pplano ka?

Kung hindi, huwag na tayong mag taka.

Sisirain Niya talaga ang planong ikaw ang bumuo upang mag bigay daan sa plano Niyang pagkaganda ganda.

Sisirain Niya ang planong meron ka bago ka pa man sirain ng planong iyon.

God knows everything. He sees, hear and feel you. Anak ka Niya eh. And He cares for you. Ayaw ka Niyang makitang napapahamak.

Kaya sana, sa pagkakataong ito, Icommit na natin sa Lord lahat ng mga planong nais mong mangyari. Ask for God’s guidance and approval.

Always remember,

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

Ang planong idinisenyo ni Lord para sa’yo ang siyang pangarapin mo.

A Chosen Generation

“One reason we can have a radical hope is because God chose us before we chose him.

Your salvation is no accident. Long before you chose God, he chose you. It was his idea. Before God even created the universe, he decided he wanted to create you.

You were chosen according to the purpose of God. He has a purpose for your life. He wants to make you holy for heaven.

Understanding this simple truth can give you hope.

The highest honor you will ever receive is this: God invites you to spend eternity with him. That’s a big deal!”

An excerpt from my daily devotional

“You were chosen according to the purpose of God the Father and were made a holy people by his Spirit” (1 Peter 1:2 GNT)”

Upon reading this devotion, it reminds me of my purpose in Christ.

My dear, sa sobrang broken ng mundong ito, normal na maisip natin na hindi tayo worthy. That thinking may lead us to have suicidal thoughts.

Pero hindi diyan matatapos ang laban. May pag asa pa dear.

Long before we chose God, He chose you.

Sarap diba? bago mo pa man piliin si Lord, pinili ka na Niya. Walang pero pero, no second thought, He chose you above all else. It means, that even our deepest darkest secret and sins, pinili ka pa rin Niya.

Bago pa man Niya hubugin ang mundo, kasama kana sa plano. Sarap diba? Grabe yung love ni Lord ano? Solid.

You are chosen. You have your own purpose my dear. Maaaring iniisip mong wala, iniisip mong mawala nalang but dear, may isang tao na sobrang natutuwa na nag eexist ka.

God made you for a reason, for your greater purpose. Hindi ka pinili para sa wala lang. May rason kung bakit. God wants us to live according to His purpose. But that will not just end there, gusto ni Lord na mag spend ka ng oras with Him.

Walk by Faith, Not by Sight

2 Corinthians 5:7, “We walk by faith, not by sight”

Even if God said that we should not worry about everything, still, bilang tao, normal satin ang mag worry.

Paano kapag ganito, paano kapag ganyan or kung ano pa man.
We always tend to worry of something that we cannot see. Madalas tayong mag worry sa kung ano ang mang yayari bukas; sa future. But God said na hayaan mong ang bukas ang mag worry para sayo kasi kung yung mga ibon nga ay hindi Niya pinababayaan, what more He can do with us?

God also said that we must walk by faith and not by sight.

Faith means stepping out into the unknown when you don’t know what’s even in the unknown.

Lumakad tayo sa kung paano gusto ni Lord na lumakad tayo. We must percieve things on God’s lenses. Gawin mo yung pinagagawa ni Lord kahit na hindi ka sigurado sa kung anong mangyayari. God knows everything, right?

Kung saan ka man Niya gusto dalhin, ano man ang gusto Niyang iyong gawin, just comply; obey.

Faith is trusting God to the unknown.

Do not worry kung paano ka Niya ieequip or what. Just remember na kung saan Niya tayo gusto dalhin, mag pprovide Siya. It is a matter of faith, trust and obedience.

Hindi na natin kailangan problemahin kung paano or ano ang mga mangyayari sa sarili nating pananaw. Mas matalino si Lord kesa sa atin, alam Niya ang ginagawa Niya. If God calls you to do it, He will surely provide for it.

He didn’t called the qualified, He qualifies the called.
